Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate enough to stand behind a microphone in front of thousands of people.
Some moments have been filled with celebration. Others with reflection. Some with excitement. Some with emotion.
They’ve taught me one simple lesson: every person deserves their moment.
Whether it’s an athlete breaking a record, a couple beginning married life, a family remembering someone they love, or the final participant crossing a finish line, every occasion has people at its heart.
My role is to help those moments become memories.

Watching somebody leave with a smile. Hearing an athlete say they felt recognised. Helping an organiser feel proud of the event they worked so hard to create.
Long before anyone offers a compliment, I usually know whether I’ve honoured the occasion. That’s the standard I hold myself to.
